Benefits of Wolfberry
Posted on Oct 25, 2013
Also known as Goji berry,
Wolfberry is rich in Vitamins A and C which can help prevent colds.
Stay strong this Fall and Winter season, by incorporating wolfberries into your diet. You can mix into your morning cereal, or eat as a snack between meals. You can add its sweet flavor to salads, or blend its vibrant red color into soups or stir fry! I like using wolfberries instead of raisins.
From a Chinese herbal perspective:
Wolfberry is beneficial because it boosts the adrenal glands.
Adrenal glands help regulate your immune systems, and help keep your body’s reaction to stress in balance. If you are working long hours, be sure to keep some wolfberries in the office for a late night snack instead of drinking caffeine. They can be purchased at any natural health food store.
What are others saying about Wolfberry? According to WebMD, people have used Goji berry to treat a number of common health concerns such as diabetes, high blood pressure, fever, and eye-problems. To be directed to their site Click Here.
